Regulations 2024/858 and 2024/996: amendments to the annexes of Cosmetic Reg. 2009/1223

Two Regulations have been published, which modify the cosmetic regulation:

• Reg. 2024/858 concerning some nanomaterial ingredients which will be included in Annex II and therefore prohibited in cosmetics
• Reg. 2024/996 regarding vitamin A, Alpha-Arbutin, Arbutin and some potential endocrine disruptors (Kojic Acid, Daidzein, Genistein, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Triclosan and Triclocarban).
