Regulation (EU) 2023/988 - Product safety
The Regulation (EU) 2023/988 concerning the general safety of products has been published, amending the regulation (EU) n. 1025/2012 and the directive (EU) 2020/1828, and which repeals the directive 2001/95/CE and the directive 87/357/CEE. The objective of this regulation, also called GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation), is to guarantee the safety of products placed on the European market and the health of consumers. Specific requirements for online sales are included.
